Cultural and exhibition program of the Congress

On December 10 at 18:50, there will be a virtual presentation of the Crimean “Museum of World Languages,” hosted by the museum’s director, Evgeny Gavrilov.

On December 11 at 18:30, everyone is invited to attend a concert by the Russian folk ensemble “Grenada.”

On December 12 at 17:30, there will be a concert by the artists of the Moscow Musical Theater, Andrey Gusev and Elena Moiseeva.

On December 12 at 18:30, there will be a presentation of exhibits from the Museum of World Languages of Shanghai University.

Andrey Gusev

Performed in the musicals Nord-Ost, Annie, Warriors of Spirit, We Will Rock You, and MAMMA MIA!. Since 2007, he has been a vocalist with the Phonograph company, directed by S. Zhilin (rock opera Perfume), and an actor at the Moscow Musical Theatre.

Elena Moiseeva is a Russian film and theatre actress, performing roles in the musicals “Nord-Ost”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “An Ordinary Miracle”, “The Sound of Music”, “I am Edmond Dantes”. In the musical “All About Cinderella” Elena plays the role of Stepmother, for which she was nominated for the prestigious Golden Mask Theater Award. Elena teaches the musical course at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts.

The ensemble’s repertoire includes musical compositions in 30 world’s languages, as well as dances of different countries and nations. GRENADA owns a unique collection of musical instruments of various countries, nations and times. Winner of the 15th International Folklore Festival in Vita (Italy, 2010), recipient of the Order of BernardoO’Higgins (2010), the Order of Francisco de Miranda (2011), winner of the 52nd International Folklore Festival in Koskin (Argentina, 2012).

The big jazz ensemble that performs original music based on a mixture of styles. Bingo Paprika is one of the strongest, driving jazz rhythm sections in Moscow and a big virtuoso brass section.

The Museum of World Languages is a unique cultural project — the only one of its kind in Russia and one of the few in the world dedicated to the linguistic diversity of our planet.
