The Second Eurasian Congress of Linguists Committee has been put together

In May 2025, the First Eurasian Congress of Linguists resolution led to the establishment of the Steering Committee to prepare the Second Eurasian Congress of Linguists (EACL-2). The Committee was created on the initiative of the Institute of Linguistics of the Russian Academy of Sciences and is headed by its Director and Chairman of the EACL-1 Program Committee, Andrej Kibrik. The Coordinating Committee is responsible for identifying the location, time, and main organizer who can guarantee a high level of organizational and scientific excellence for the upcoming congress. The Steering committee includes scientists from different countries and institutions:
